Services

There are several different ways we can work together, depending on what brings you here and what you’re looking for.

Individual Counseling

Child & Teen Counseling

Counseling for children and teens begins with a caregiver intake so we can talk openly about what’s going on, your child’s history, and what kind of support might be most helpful. We’ll also talk through practical tools and strategies you can begin using at home right away so support doesn’t have to wait until your child’s first session.

From there, individual sessions give your child or teen a space of their own to build connection, explore what they’re experiencing, and engage in therapy in ways that fit their age and needs. Periodic parent sessions are woven into the process to share observations, talk through what’s working and what isn’t, and make sure we’re working together toward the same goals.

Adult Counseling

You may come to counseling knowing exactly what you want to work on. Other times, you just know something feels hard, stuck, or different and you’re not quite sure what to do with it. You don’t need to have it all figured out before you walk through the door. We’ll start with what’s happening right now and work together from there. Our work might include practical problem-solving as well as space to explore the things that run a little deeper.

Parent Consultation

You can know your child better than anyone and still have moments when you have absolutely no clue what they need from you. Parent consultation gives you dedicated time to talk through what’s happening at home, better understand what may be driving a behavior, and find practical ways to respond. Having space to step outside the day-to-day, with someone who deeply understands child development and behavior, can make it easier to notice patterns and consider what may be happening underneath what you’re seeing. That might mean strengthening connection, navigating challenging behaviors, or setting boundaries. The goal is that you leave feeling less overwhelmed, more equipped, and hopeful about what comes next.

Parent & Community Workshops

Workshops offer a practical, down-to-earth way to learn more about what kids need and leave with ideas you can actually use at home. Topics may include building emotional vocabulary, connecting through play, supporting healthy coping skills, lessening stress around picky eating, and navigating the everyday challenges of raising kids (yes, including surviving summer without losing your mind!). Understanding what’s happening for the kids you love matters a lot, but so does knowing what to do with that understanding.

Professional Training & Speaking

The people in the room matter just as much as the topic. We’ll talk through what you’re seeing and what you hope your group takes away from our time together, then Chantel will shape the content from there. Chantel has extensive experience creating and delivering engaging, practical presentations and trainings for mental health professionals, churches, schools, and community organizations. Topics may include grief and loss, trauma-informed care, sensory-friendly spaces and programming, emotional regulation and the nervous system, the power of playful engagement, how kids think and make sense of the world, building trust and connection with kids, and correcting behavior without losing connection.
